Pioneering, innovation and dedication capable to transform dreams in reality are the basis of Alutal history, which began in 1994 when its founding partner, Antonio Franciulli, started its activities in a small factory of temperature sensors, located in São Paulo, in the city of Sorocaba.

Having the red ceramic industry as its niche in the beginning of the company, Alutal established itself after a few years as the market leader for Temperature measurement and control equipment within this segment. Adding to its product line other products other than temperature sensors, such as metal detectors, PC monitoring for furnace control, humidity controllers for industrial dryers among others, Alutal contributed significantly for a technological leap in control and measurement in this Industry.

Going through a severe crisis in 2001, after the death of its founder, the company had to reduce the pace of your activities. But one year later, it was already operating at double capacity and in modern installations – The Company triumphed and expanded its line once again.

In 2003, Alutal started its activities in the industrial thermometry market, adapting its facilities and projects for this new challenge. With new machines and new job openings, the company doubled in size in only 3 years.

In 2006, the company began to regularly export its products for around the world, such as Bolivia, Venezuela, Argentina, Ecuador, Chile, South Africa, Colombia, Italy and USA. The production and the company building were once again doubled, with the creation of its own laboratory for analysis and calibration of thermocouples.

Its final product quality, crucial point for its entry against big companies is finally crowned in 2009, when Alutal certified its Quality Management System by the International Standard ISO-9001:2008. It’s also created the Application Engineering Department, where through visits to clients, Alutal creates thermometry solutions for each specific client need.

In 2012, once again in the pursuit of Excellence, the Alutal Temperature Calibration Laboratory is accredited by INMETRO, having one of the lower uncertainties available across the Brazilian Terrotary.

The company also recently moved to its new headquarters in the City of Votorantim-SP, which has a bigger and more qualified manufacturing unit.

Alutal is currently under implementation of the ISO 14000 (Environmental Management).
