Founded in Marseille, France, in 1978, SRi has a decades-long history of serving the oil and gas, energy, refining, chemical, metals, and mining industries. Initially, SRi started its operations in France by providing services to local refineries.

In 1990, SRi made the strategic decision to expand into the machining of floating ball and trunnion isolation valves, developing its own exclusive custom design. These projects were conceived based on the company’s rich experience in serving the oil, gas, and refining industries.

The growth of SRi’s product line continued with the acquisition of VANNES RIGAU in 2005. Currently, SRi offers a wide variety of isolation valves, including gate, globe, check, and ball valves. Over 80% of SRi’s sales are directed to markets outside of France, notably to companies in Europe, Africa, Asia, and since 2022, to Brazil through the partnership established with Alutal.

SRi is recognized as a qualified supplier for national and international companies, catering to end-users and EPC contractors alike. The strong demand for their high-quality valves, both customized and standard, prompted the company to expand its capacity, leading to the construction of a new facility at its headquarters in Marseille, France.
