It is a fact that the latest events related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic have been causing concern and doubts related to industrial activities.
We are fully aware that the physical and mental health of our employees is our most valuable asset, therefore, precautionary measures have been duly taken and will come into force from March 23, 2020:
- Employees in administrative functions will carry out their activities from home;
- All meetings, visits and training have been temporarily suspended;
- Employees returning from vacation and who may have been in areas where the virus is at risk must remain at home for 14 days before resuming their activities;
As manufacturers of critical and safety equipment for basic industries, we reiterate our commitment to society and our customers: WE GUARANTEE the continuity of our factory operations and product delivery throughout the quarantine period.
Therefore, we implemented a Contingency Plan in the production areas in order to ensure our production and, mainly, the protection of workers involved in essential activities such as production, laboratory and shipping. For these employees, the measures taken and also implemented from March 23, 2020 will be:
- Strict hygiene and safety control;
- Mandatory use of alcohol gel and masks;
- Rotation during meals: groups of maximum 5 people;
- Division of production areas into new shifts and a minimum distance of 2m between each employee.
We love our country and our people, so we are dedicated to taking all necessary measures to reduce the spread of the virus.
