Condensate discharge test in traps

The VKP 41 Plus (Ex) Test, Recording and Evaluation System analyzes the operation of the traps and aims to verify the actual operating condition of the steam lines. Defective traps cause problems such as disruption to the production process, changes in process times and quality. When they leak, they pressurize the condensate network, reducing the efficiency of other well-functioning traps, resulting in a large amount of steam loss, increasing the consumption of energy, water and products used in the treatment. They cause low efficiency in heat exchangers and inefficient drainage of steam systems, generate water hammer problems, damage equipment and installations and reduce useful life. Ultimately, they cause a high rate of system maintenance and increase the risk of workplace accidents.
