Optical Pyrometer - CellaCast® PA 81(800 – 2400 °C)

The CellaCast PA 81 was specially developed for measuring the temperature of liquid metals in the casting channels of blast furnaces and cupola furnaces. Furthermore, the pyrometer is used when transferring the metal from the melting or holding furnace into the transport ladle or casting ladle. The two-colour pyrometer is equipped with a separate optical measuring head and a fibre optic cable. The fibre optic cable and measuring head are insensitive to interference from electromagnetic radiation and can be used in ambient temperatures up to 250 °C without cooling. The variant with separate optical measuring head has advantages especially in confined spaces.
