The VC 50 linear reducing valve is designed as a capillary valve. The capillary length and therefore the flow rate can be adjusted very precisely by means of an adjustable sliding unit. This design is particularly suited to reducing high system pressures while ensuring minimal wear due to laminar flow conditions within the capillary. Another advantage is the long-term stable flow with typical sedimentation in the water-steam circuit compared to a needle valve. The capillary inside the valve can be opened completely in the flush position to remove deposits and the valve can also be closed completely.
