The product
The thermostatic valve is necessary to block the sample flow when the sample temperature is too high, for example, in the case of failures in the cooling water supply or failures in the cooler itself. This prevents a very hot sample from passing through the measuring equipment, destroying it or causing serious burns to operators.
The PE 74 has a self-operated mechanical locking safety device. It uses a one-button thermostatic system and is therefore independent of electrical supply. It is used for pressures up to 300 bar. As an option, a contact output can be added to notify the area about the valve activation.
