The product
The AquaScat S from Sigrist measures the turbidity of potable water according to IEC 27027 and the temperature, with the measurement carried out directly in the water. This reduces maintenance work to a minimum and has zero water loss. In the water industry, the AquaScat S serves drinking water treatment.
How the AquaScat S works
The calibration is done with a checking unit that is installed when needed. Various customer wishes can be catered for with the different options for data visualization and connection to a PLC/SCADA.
Applications
Thanks to the different process integration options, a solution can be found for virtually any requirement. The AquaScat S can be installed with:
- Steel pipe with flange (DN40, DN50, DN80)
- Fitting for PE or PVC pipes
- PVC bypass measuring cell
- Extractable assembly
- Direct immersion in the pool
