The product
The ColorPlus 2 System from Sigrist consists of a series of 2 to 4 ColorPlus 2 units, each of which measures the UV absorption (254 nm). These measurements allow the optimal dosage of ozone or PAC, which is ecologically and economically of high interest.
How the ColorPlus 2 System works
Automatic cleaning with detergent and compressed air ensures exact measured values and at the same time extends the maintenance intervals. This reduces both downtime and maintenance to a minimum.
The operation is intuitive via the intelligent SICON control unit using touchscreen technology and a color display. The display shows values, graphics, status and alarm information. An internal data memory allows the visualization of measurement data over the last 32 days. Various analog and digital interfaces allow easy system integration and control.
Applications
The ColorPlus 2 System monitors the elimination of micropollutants in the fourth clarification stage, in both treatment processes:
- Ozonation: UV 254 nm absorption measurement for ozone dosage.
- Powdered activated carbon (PAC): UV 254 nm absorption measurement for PAC dosage.
