The product
The Cryogenic Belt Box Pump AC/TC-21, by Nikkiso ACD, serves liquid storage transfer, liquid cylinder filling and trailer off-loading. It pumps nitrogen, oxygen, argon and methane. The line includes the .75 x 1 x 4, 1 x 2 x 4.5, 1 x 2 x 6, 1 x 2 x 6-25 and 1.5 x 2.5 x 6C sizes. In the 1.5 x 2.5 x 6C size, the flow range is 10 – 180 gpm (35 – 680 lpm).
How the Cryogenic Belt Box Pump AC/TC-21 works
The AC/TC-21 uses a belt drive design. As a result, the pump runs at higher speeds.
A belt tension mechanism increases the life of the timing belt and bearings. In addition, the belt drive components have “full tooth engagement”. This way, the drive offers greater capacity and longer life.
The belt housing is also built in lightweight aluminum. Therefore, the construction reduces overall pump weight.
