How the EXACTUS® HELIOS Pyrometer works
Proprietary EXACTUS® technology is the heart of HELIOS. It uses dual visible green lasers to pinpoint the precise target spot and position the measurement accurately. As a result, the operator gets consistent, reliable readings in even the most challenging field conditions.
The optical pyrometer has a single-wavelength 0.9 µm detector, drift of less than 0.10 °C per year and speed up to 1,000 readings per second. In addition, an integrated camera, real-time image capture and intuitive touchscreen operation streamline workflows. With this, HELIOS sets a new standard for portable pyrometers.
