The product
The MTF-208 Alutal offers accurate and reliable readings at multiple points. With options from 1 to 16 points, it aims to provide a temperature profile and average tank temperature. It is designed to measure the temperature of liquids stored in bulk. In these cases, the temperature is used to monitor the stock in the tank. The calculated average temperature of the liquid, based on the immersed sensors, provides data to accurately calculate the volume of the tanks.
Easy to install, the sensor is attached to the tank nozzle, through a flange or thread, at the top.
Protected and sealed against gas, the elements are placed inside a corrugated stainless steel tube, aiming to facilitate handling during installation; all elements are attached to a steel cable. To prevent floating and movement, the MTF-208 also offers an anchor stabilization weight, so that it remains fixed to the bottom of the tank, even if the tank is full.
Designed for atmospheric tanks up to 0.5 Bar (7.3 psi). In case of pressurization, it should be installed in a closed thermowell, facilitating maintenance, even with the tank operating.
MTF-208 sensors have IP68 protection and certification for classified areas in accordance with INMETRO ordinance 179.
