The product
The Cryogenic Belt Box Pump AC/TC-50, by Nikkiso ACD, serves liquid storage transfer, small and medium plant transfer and tank car unloading. It pumps nitrogen, oxygen, argon and methane. The line includes the 1 x 2 x 6-25, 1.5 x 2.5 x 10 and 2 x 4 x 8.5 sizes. In the 1.5 x 2.5 x 10 size, the flow range is 20 – 200 gpm (75 – 750 lpm).
How the Cryogenic Belt Box Pump AC/TC-50 works
The AC/TC-50 uses a rugged high speed belt box. As a result, it is excellent for intermittent duty and high power/flow applications.
In addition, the design does not require an inverter duty motor to obtain high speed, high pressure applications. The belt box is also an excellent cold creep barrier. This way, it protects the motor bearings.
The impeller design, in turn, allows for a low NPSH requirement.
