The product
The Cryogenic CO2 Transfer Pump DCPS, by Nikkiso ACD, serves trailer and container loading and unloading and liquid storage transfer. It pumps carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide. The pump comes in two sizes, 180 and 220, and handles suction pressures up to 22 bar. The flow range is 20 – 200 gpm (75 – 750 lpm).
How the Cryogenic CO2 Transfer Pump DCPS works
A fixed speed electric motor drives the DCPS directly. In addition, the pump has a specialty design for high suction pressures up to 22 bar.
An inducer also lowers the NPSH requirement. As a result, the pump works with a low NPSHr.
