The product
The Cryogenic Fuel Station Pump MP-100, by Nikkiso ACD, is a modular displacement pump for LH2 fueling stations, storage filling and special medium to heavy duty applications. It pumps nitrogen, oxygen, argon, methane and hydrogen, with a maximum discharge pressure of up to 13,000 psi (900 bar).
How the Cryogenic Fuel Station Pump MP-100 works
The MP-100 is a modular, compact displacement pump. As a result, it is available in 1, 2, 3 or 5 cylinder configurations that provide a wide range of flows.
The cold end is vacuum jacketed. Therefore, the pump minimizes cool-down losses and runs economically, which makes it ideal for liquid hydrogen.
The drive is pressurized oil lubricated, with an integral oil pump and reservoir. This way, it allows higher bearing loads and prevents oil leakage.
