The product
The Cryogenic Marine High Pressure Pump MSP-GU, by Nikkiso ACD, is a medium flow/high pressure pump for marine applications. It is part of the high pressure fuel pump system and is designed for all shipboard applications. The MSP-GU delivers flow rates from 1 to 10 m³/h, with pressures from 200 to 414 bar.
How the Cryogenic Marine High Pressure Pump MSP-GU works
The MSP-GU uses an electric drive system. This way, it provides simple and reliable flow control, with no HPU required.
The high pressure pumps, gearbox or beltbox, and electric motors sit on a common steel skid. In addition, a forced lubrication system provides a longer lifetime for pump drive operation.
The system also offers total redundancy. In other words, it includes 100% pump redundancy, 100% valve and instrumentation redundancy and 100% drive system redundancy (motors and VFDs).
