The product
The Cryogenic Submerged Motor Pump TC-34.2, by Nikkiso ACD, serves fuel supply systems for rail locomotives, marine fuel systems, bunkering, peak-shaving and power generation. It pumps nitrogen, argon, ethylene, ethane, methane, propane and hydrogen, with a flow range of 1 – 1,600 gpm (4 – 6,056 lpm). The TC-34.2 is available in multiple sizes and is not suitable for oxygen service.
How the Cryogenic Submerged Motor Pump TC-34.2 works
The TC-34.2 features a permanent magnet motor and heavy duty ceramic bearings. In addition, an active thrust balancing system extends bearing life.
High efficiency hydraulics work with an extremely low NPSHR inducer. A special design VFD drive also provides operation point control over the entire pump operating range.
The pump supports suction pot mounted installation as well as in-tank and removable installations. In other words, it is available in sump and in-tank designs.
