The product
The Cryogenic Cylinder Filling Pump ACPD, by Nikkiso ACD, serves cylinder filling and test stand applications. It pumps nitrogen, oxygen, argon, hydrogen and methane. In addition, the standard systems handle a maximum working pressure of up to 6,000 psi (414 bar).
How the Cryogenic Cylinder Filling Pump ACPD works
The ACPD has a vacuum-jacketed cold end. As a result, the pump helps minimize heat leak and reduce product loss.
An electric motor with belt drive powers the grease-lubricated drive assembly. The stainless steel drive housing extends pump life. The bearings are also grease lubricated and sealed for life. This way, the pump offers extended operation.
In addition, a positive locking drive coupling improves operational safety.
