Peter J. Sundt founded Metrix in 1965. Initially focused on geophysical exploration, this technology gradually began to be applied to industrial vibration measurements as well. As a result, machine vibration monitoring has become the sole focus of the company.
Metrix has pioneered the concept of simple and affordable machinery protection with mechanical vibration switches, revolutionary 4-20 mA vibration transmitters, robust high temperature speed sensors and innovative alternative machine impact transmitter technology.
